The Galaxy Tab is one of the first tablet devices manufactured by the leading mobile company - Samsung Electronics Co .Their latest innovation, the 7 inch tablet is their effort to help the users enjoy all the multimedia content with a PC like web browsing experience. Samsung Tab is powered by Android 2.2 OS running TouchWiz 3.0.
With a 7 inch display and a weight of 0.8 pounds the tablet is comfortable enough to be held in your hands unlike the 1.5 pounds Apple iPad, which becomes a bit too heavy to handle at times. The tablet can support upto 7 hrs of video playback however, in these terms the iPads are much better and lasts upto 10 hrs.

The galaxy tab also features the Media hub which has its own storefront for videos, movie and songs, giving users the access to a wide range of options to select from. There's a 3.5mm headphone port, for media and handsfree kit connection, with a 30-pin plug on the bottom rather than a microUSB adaptor for better and fast charging of the 4000mAh battery and fast data transfer. However, Samsung galaxy tab Video chat will only work over Wi-Fi. Also, none of the models will support 4G connectivity.
